Dine on Tap

Most digital menus are built for the restaurant, not the guest. We believe both sides of the table deserve better: customers should be able to browse a menu that works for everyone, and staff should have a dashboard simple enough to use with confidence. Dine on Tap is our answer, built from a personal love of dining out and a frustration with menus that leave people behind. It is an accessible digital-menu plugin for restaurants, bars, and cafes, available as a free version on WordPress.org, with an optional Plus upgrade that adds tableside service requests and staff notifications.

WordPress Plugin

Dine on Tap turns any WordPress page into a fully accessible digital menu. It has two modules: the public menu that customers see after scanning a QR code, and the manager dashboard where your staff edit items, update prices, and mark sold-out dishes in real time.

The free version is available now on the official WordPress.org plugin directory, so you can install it on your existing site and start managing your menu today. The optional Plus upgrade adds tableside service requests, staff push notifications, and per-table QR codes.

What You Get

Accessible by Design

Both the customer menu and the manager dashboard are fully accessible. They work with screen readers, keyboard navigation, proper contrast, and visible focus indicators. This helps your business comply with the European Accessibility Act.

Manager Dashboard

A separate, mobile-friendly panel for your staff, built to the same accessibility level as the customer menu. Add or edit items, update prices, and mark dishes as sold out from a tablet or phone. No WordPress admin access is needed.

Multilingual Menus

The menu interface comes with a growing set of built-in language packs, independent of your WordPress site language. You can manually translate item names and descriptions into a second language, and connect your own DeepL API key to auto-translate your menu into more languages, all included in the free version. Ideal for tourist areas and international guests.

QR Code Access

Customers scan a QR code and open your full menu on their phone, with no app to install. The free version generates a single code for your whole menu. With Plus, you can create a separate code for each table, which also lets guests send service requests from their seat.

Service Requests & Push PLUS

With the Plus upgrade, guests who scan a table QR code can request the bill, cutlery, or table cleaning, or send a custom message. Staff receive instant push notifications, with no app install needed.

Allergens & Dietary Info

All 14 EU allergens are included with clear icons, and you can add your own custom allergens. Nutrition info, portion sizes, and badges like Featured, Popular, or Recommended are optional per item. This helps customers filter the menu and choose with confidence.

Pricing

The free version is available on WordPress.org at no cost. Plus is a one-time purchase with lifetime updates. No subscriptions and no recurring fees. Your Plus license covers one production site.
